Our client is a leading manufacturer within materials handling, fork-lift, warehousing and capital equipment sector.  The company offer an excellent reputation for product quality, values and positive business ethics.  As part of an exciting reorganisation and to drive growth they now require an experienced BDM.
  
LOCATION
North (Home-based remote field sales role)
Ideal locations: Manchester, Merseyside, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Stockport, Bolton, Preston, Blackburn, Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds, Bradford, York, or close.
  
THE JOB ROLE
The Business Development Manager role will see you take responsibility for a well-established field sales area with strong B2B customer relationships.  Key to the role will be:
  • Building on existing relationships to grow the £1m+ turnover area.
  • Networking to identify new business opportunities across higher spend dealer and end-user customers.
  • Managing the sales cycle end-to-end, with the support of a highly knowledgeable team at head office.
  • Driving the growth of the brand across all sales and marketing activity.
THE PERSON NEEDED
For the Business Development Manager role our client is ideally looking for prior sales experience in a related market sector.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, hydraulic equipment, fork-lift trucks, materials handling equipment, compactors, balers or specialist commercial vehicles.
  • Prior field sales experience with a track record of building profitable B2B customer relationships and networks.
  • A positive team mind-set and values-based approach to your career.
THE REWARDS
£43K Basic salary +5-10K OTE
