Our Client is an innovative healthcare organisation located in Central London; They are seeking a Temp-Perm Exams Officer £37,332
You will ideally have experience having worked within a similar position within a membership organisation or professional body.
What will you be doing?
The post-holder will take principal responsibility for candidate examination scheduling and the collation and accurate publication of all examination results. This will include the liaison with deaneries/regional education teams
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the end-to-end processes of examination applications
- Undertake all necessary preparatory work associated with online examination reservations and bookings and revisions to any related published information prior to the opening of each application window.
- Ensure that examination fee payments are recorded online, taking payments over the telephone as necessary and to collate financial reports to support reconciliation work carried out by the Data and Statistics Manager and financial business partners.
- Provide data and collate communications to support the swift resolution of any complaints and issues arising from that process.
- Prepare examination results for candidates and their dissemination to deaneries and others as necessary.
- Oversee the Examinations inbox and act as a conduit for specific enquiries about the application process for examinations and results publication, ensuring that the information and advice that enquirers receive is accurate, consistent, appropriate and timely.
- Develop a close working relationship with key colleagues in IT, working together to fix any system issues affecting candidate applications and results, and actively striving to improve systems and processes, sharing best practice.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and assist the Data & Statistics Manager in data work including collating data for external partners.
You will need:
- Extensive office administration in a relevant field, preferably examinations or assessment
- Handling, manipulating and interpreting large quantities of data.
- Experience in using, compiling and maintaining databases, extracting data and compiling reports.
- Working to a high level of accuracy.
- Managing tight deadlines.
- Managing a diverse and autonomous workload in a high-profile, high-pressure area of College activity.
- Working in a customer-facing environment.
- Using, managing and manipulating large and complex databases
- Proven efficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Access and Word.
The Exams Officer is a Temp-perm role; Once perm the Salary is £37332, plus great benefits such enhanced annual leave, life assurance, flexible working and much more.
Note, our client is offering a hybrid working model that may require occasional flexibility (average partial work from home - minimum 2 days per week in office 40%). This could be subject to future change or adjustment.
